Uses
MS-Seal may be used on concrete block, brick, precast concrete,
stucco, poured concrete walls, and other structurally sound masonry and
concrete wall surfaces.
Mixing Instructions
MS-Seal should be mixed using a mechanical mixer, preferably a 1/2"
drill with mixing paddle. Blend 3 parts potable water with one part
MS-Acrylic Bonding Agent in a clean container to make up the mixing liquid into
a mixing container and gradually add the MS-Seal to bring the mixture to the
consistency of pancake batter. Fifty pounds of MS-Seal will require
approximately two gallons of mixing liquid.
Application
Apply MS-Seal to surfaces that are clean and free of all dirt, oil and any
other foreign contaminants. Provide an absorptive surface on all
substrates including smooth concrete by abrading the surface. Voids that
have been patched and other preparations should cure 24 hours before applying
MS-Seal. Dampen walls prior to application. MS-Seal is a two-coat
application. For the first coat, apply at a rate of 2 lbs. per square
yard; the second coat at a rate of 1 lb. per square yard. The second coat
should be mixed somewhat thinner to smooth out the surface and fill any small
voids missed in the first coat application.
Safety Precautions
Use only on vertical walls. MS-Seal is not intended for use on
floors. Do not apply when temperature s are below 40F and falling.
Avoid contact with eyes and skin. MS-Seal is alkaline and contains
Portland cement. In case of eye contact, flood eyes repeatedly with water
and call a physician immediately.
Warranty
This product conforms to current applicable specifications and is
manufactured to meet published physical properties when properly cured and
tested according to ASTM standards. Since seller has no control over the
conditions of use or storage of the product sold, seller can not guarantee the
results obtained through the use of its products. The buyer shall
determine the suitability of the product for its own purpose. Seller shall
in no event be liable for consequential (including loss of profits) or punitive
damages. Seller's liability hereunder, if any, shall be limited to
replacement of goods sold. This warranty is in lieu of any and all other
warranties, expressed or implied.
